Do your guests feel welcome? Turn it around; Have you ever gone to someone’s house and immediately felt like you are part of the family? How do they do it? It is one thing to be treated as a special guest, but quite another to feel such hospitality and be so relaxed to let your guard down and be yourself.
The Bible tells us that the person with the gift of hospitality creates that warm, welcoming, refreshing atmosphere so even strangers are treated as friends. Hospitality is a spiritual gift that in our dining-out culture is not so evident today. Give it a try; and employ it in serving one another, as a good steward of the abundant grace of God.
